Track Cycling Grand Prix Poland

The success of European Track Cycling Championships 2008 and UCI Track Cycling World Championships 2009 has to be continued. In 2010 Polish Cycling Federation along with Pruszków City and Polish Olympic Committee would like to invite Track Teams from all over the world to Grand Prix Poland which will take place on 12-13 March 2010.
This event will be the final test before the UCI Track Cycling World Championships 2010.
BGŻ Arena has already proved to be one of the fastest tracks in the world.
The surroundings of the velodrome comprises a park with numerous lakes, a swimming pool and a hotel of high standard. Beautiful scenery, peaceful city of Pruszków, tourist accommodation, proximity of the capital city of Warsaw, the airport – all of these make Grand Prix Poland even more attractive.
Perfect cooperation between the city authorities and Polish Cycling Federation guarantees that the competition will be organised on the highest, world level. It has already been proved in March 2009 during World Championships.
We are sure that the attraction of the venue, city authorities and organisers engagement and highest level of competition will make all of you gladly come back to Pruszków in 2010.

CONDITION OF PARTCIPATION:
National Teams and UCI Track Teams comprising riders aged 18 and over are invited to the event. There is no maximum limit of riders per team.

ACCOMODATION AND MEALS: Accomodation and meals are up the teams. Organizer does not cover any costs conected with accomodation and meals. Attached is list of suggested hotels in Pruszków area.

REFERENCES CONCERNING ORGANISATION :

The race will be run under UCI Regulations. UCI Scale of Penalites shall apply and the drug-test regulations apply as well.

The race permanence, press room , antidoping check control room, check licenses and the distribution of numbers are located on the ground floor of the velodrome BGŻ Arena.

Electronic cronometrage and foto finish will be used. The velodrome BGŻ Arena has showers, changing rooms and bike boxes/storages.
Medical sevice is available at the site during all races.
